1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At SharePopa, privacy is not a setting — it is our core utility. We designed this web application to allow instant file and text sharing with the smallest digital footprint possible. We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide personal details to access our free services.

2. Data We Collect and How We Use It

Because SharePopa is an ephemeral utility, we limit data collection to the bare minimum required to route transfers and maintain service integrity:

• Ephemeral Share Content: When sharing files or text via our standard OTP system, your data is securely uploaded to our storage. It is stored temporarily and automatically deleted either immediately upon download or after 30 minutes, whichever comes first.
• Premium Storage (R2): If you use a Premium token, your uploads are saved on Cloudflare R2 storage for a fixed window of 24 hours, after which they are permanently deleted.
• Local Network Sharing (Nearby Share): Nearby Share utilizes WebRTC peer-to-peer data channels. Files transferred via Nearby Share move directly from one browser to another over local Wi-Fi or LAN. No file data is uploaded to our servers during WebRTC transfers.
• Payments: Premium token transactions are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store or collect your payment card details. Such information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising Cookies & Third-Party Partners

We serve advertisements through Google AdSense / AdMob to keep our utility free. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to SharePopa and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

4. Security of Data

We prioritize the safety of your transfers. Ephemeral links and WebRTC channels are encrypted in transit. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage users not to share highly sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
